On October 18, 2010, Dr. Librach presented on "To Err Is Human: Patient Safety as an Issue in Palliative and End-of-Life Care". There is increasing importance being put on patient safety, especially in hospitals. However, little is written about patient safety in home care or palliative care. Dr. Librach's session explored issues of patient safety as they related to palliative care and quality of care.
